A Refund Transfer is a fee-based product offered by Republic Bank & Trust Company, Member FDIC. Refund Transfer fees and any authorized tax preparation fees are deducted from your tax refund.
If you choose not to use a Refund Transfer, your tax preparation fees are due out of pocket at the time services are provided, and you may receive your refund directly from the IRS at no additional cost.
How It Works
Your tax refund is sent to Republic Bank. Once received, the bank deducts the authorized fees and disburses the remaining refund to you.
